Importance of Maintenance

Most people don't realize just how much built up residue or dirt etc. can actually get inside your reels! 

• In order for your reels to work at their best capabilities they ALL need to be properly Lubricated and cleaned, Dirt build up can ruin gears, and slow the smooth functionality that you paid for!
• Sand, Dirt, Salt water, Even just being Dry can all take part in the destruction of your reels. 
• The grease and oil inside your reels DO NOT last a lifetime! Like everything else in life that uses grease, A fresh coat goes a long way! Grease can get old, dry up.. and even cause harm to your gears in some cases when it gets too old.
• If you want top performance for your reels and longevity, we suggest you get a reel cleaning done at least once a year or once every other year 
• We take apart your entire reel, Clean off all the dirt and grime, Re-Oil your bearings, Re-Grease your reels gears and shafts, and also put a cleaning coat on the outside of your reel to help protect it for the following months to come.
• We have been known to fix reels in some cases, We have some parts reels put aside to get people through! It never hurts to ask!
